Naruto is Naive
« on: September 03, 2013, 11:56:43 am »
There is essentially no evidence that refutes Madara/Obito's claim that the world will not return to war. That the selfish desire to maintain peace leads to war, and that it's an endless cycle. Their cynicism in mankind and it's inability to change, and it's history of repeated violence and inability to understand each other is, frankly, well rooted in reality.

Naruto might be the good guy in the manga, but the real world doesn't work that way. In reality, he's a whiny, bratty, naive kid that gets by on cheap luck and friendship. The reality is that many unjust and unfair things that occur in the real world, and that war and hatred are inevitable. Regardless of the time or place, mankind is doomed to repeat this until the end of its time on Earth.

Of course, Naruto will win because this is manga and not the real world. But I'd like to see a nod on the part of the creator, that this is simply not reflective of the true nature of mankind.

He thinks he can Fix the world and the mankind...

In all seriousness if there was a Juubito in real life, i would have agreed with him. That would be the only way to attain true peace in the REAL WORLD

He rides on luck huh? Tell that to the naturally gifted shinobi whom have kekkei genkai and free power ups from "Ossans" (Orochimaru and pre identity Tobi).

He is naive and in the real world Obito and Madaras statements are infact correct. However in Naruto the sage managed to find a way to create peace during his life time. It was only after his death that war would once again break out.

Naruto (I believe) will also find a way to create world peace in future up until the point of his death (on which he will perform something amazing and entrust his Hokage seat to Konohamaru (will of fire) instead of Sasuke (just a prediction).
For I believe Naruto is the reincarnation of the sage. Therefore anything the sage accomplished ; Naruto will accomplish. Going by my own jutsu (plot no jutsu ; yes Naruto even copied that) he will succeed.

Success has always been defined as getting up one more time than you get knocked down. And Naruto does exactly that. He works hard to achieve his goal and for the greater good. Again something a certain brat does not do...

Naive yes. But you know as well as I do that he will succeed. Do not slag off the Messiah!

Given that in the history of the Naruto Universe that peace had been achieved before, albeit only for a short time, Naruto's naivete regarding changing the 'system' per se isn't really as unrealistic as it seems.
Already in the manga, we're seeing the 5 shinobi nations united together under one banner wearing one forehead protector which had been previously unheard of. Relations between those 5 villages and their Kages are better than ever before, having now fought with and for eachother against a threat that would put alot of their petty disagreements into perspective after all this is said and done.
Naruto has been listening to the words of those who fell victim to the world throughout the series (Gaara, Sasuke, Pain, etc.) and each time, he's continued to strive to change both those people and the world they live in. It's not like he is living in a big fantasy land and all his dreams are just bound to come true just because he's the title character. He's been through it all as well.
Even the Bijuu have seen and acknowledged his undying resolve in this resolve. Perhaps with this battle, Kishi is trying to show the realistic and historic nature of mankind - the curse of a cycle of war being broken by the ideas of a new generation - one that isn't unfamiliar to conflict, but one that still values peace and security above all else. I mean, that seemed to be what Jiraiya's books seemed to be about..

Apparently so is Obito.
Chespin solos Sakura, both in terms of cuteness, and in terms of abilities.
